DID YOU KNOW…
2021 will be better!
Last fall, in an effort to offer a practice more aligned with our modern needs, I began to study for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) board exam. Having passed said exam, I am now a Diplomat of the ACLM and a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner.
So what does this mean?
The six pillars of lifestyle medicine include a largely plant-based diet, regular physical activity, sufficient and good quality sleep, stress management, avoiding risky substances and having positive healthy social connections and relationships. I have already begun adding these aspects of overall care into my practice.
In this unprecedented year, with so many uncertainties, I had a record number of new clients. Patients truly began to more deeply appreciate the importance of good health as we watched those with underlying conditions suffer with the most hospitalizations, and serious or often fatal outcomes. If you have lost someone or suffered from the virus yourself, my heart goes out to you.
I wish you all a less weird, less stressful, healthy and safe 2021.
If you or anyone you know is ready to make a new lifestyle wellness plan, I am currently accepting new clients who are curious about adopting a plant-based eating pattern. I am here to help!
